Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Sr Software Engineer – Data & Integration for remote work. You will design and build scalable data pipelines, APIs, and enterprise integrations across ERP/CRM/PIM and e-commerce platforms.

The role demands 10+ years of software engineering with strong data/API experience and cloud proficiency. This independent contractor position includes production support and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with data & integration focus.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or C#/.NET and REST APIs.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data transformation, and data integration.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data formats (JSON/XML/CSV).
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and production support.
• Ability to analyze complex integration and data-flow problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations between internal and external systems.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, validation, and synchronization processes.
• Integrate ERP, CRM, PIM, e-commerce, supply chain, and other enterprise apps.
• Work with structured and unstructured data across multiple sources.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data issues, API errors, and incidents.
• Develop reusable, scalable software components and collaborate with teams.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Monitor data workflows and drive performance improvements.
• Follow CI/CD, testing, logging, and documentation best practices.
