Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Sr Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC, on a 12-month contract. The role blends on-site and remote work (03 days onsite, 02 days remote) with responsibilities spanning data engineering, Python development, and API/microservices implementation.

The candidate should have strong SQL Server, Pandas, REST APIs, and DevOps experience, plus familiarity with capital markets risk concepts and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with data engineering and data processing libraries such as Pandas.
• Experience building distributed applications using SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and understanding microservices.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support data engineering solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Work on data modernization initiatives and improve existing platforms.
• Develop and maintain applications using Python.
• Create and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
• Build and support REST APIs and microservices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks using Jira.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to deployment activities.
