Job summary

Sun Health in Sun City West, AZ seeks a Senior Data and Applications Engineer to design, build, and support enterprise data platforms, automation, AI/ML, and business applications.

You will collaborate with leaders to translate challenges into scalable solutions using Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI, REST APIs, and integration across Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in data engineering and enterprise systems; healthcare or nonprofit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in data engineering, enterprise apps, or BI.
• Experience developing and supporting data integrations and automation workflows.
• Experience with enterprise apps administration or configuration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI, or similar tech.
• Healthcare, nonprofit, or senior living experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

As a senior member of the Data & Applications team, you'll design, develop, and support enterprise technology solutions across a broad range of platforms and technologies.

Your Work May Include

• Designing enterprise data integrations and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Building Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.
• Administering and enhancing enterprise applications such as Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
• Developing REST API integrations and automation solutions.
• Working directly with business leaders to understand challenges and design practical technology solutions.
• Designing intelligent automation and AI- and machine learning-enabled solutions that improve outcomes, support better decision‑making, and create new organizational capabilities.
• Mentoring teammates, sharing knowledge, and helping establish technical best practices.

No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be designing a data integration, the next building an automation, implementing an enterprise application, or helping shape how artificial intelligence and machine learning create new value for the organization.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering, enterprise applications, systems integration, business intelligence, automation, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting enterprise data integrations, reporting solutions, and business applications, including administering or configuring enterprise applications and automated workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI, or comparable technologies.
• Preferred: experience integrating ERP, CRM, HRIS, fundraising, EHR, or similar enterprise systems, and experience within healthcare, nonprofit, or senior living organizations.

Salary: $98500.00 - $108751.96 per year
