Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union seeks a data analytics professional to support Internal Audit with complex modeling and actionable insights. You will define data requirements, process large datasets, and deliver analytics to risk partners and management.

Collaborate with audit teams, lead small projects, and advance analytics through SQL, Python, R, and Power BI, while contributing to data governance and best-practice methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong SQL, Python or R, and data manipulation skills.
• Experience with ETL tools and data cleaning/preprocessing.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analytical and statistical modeling on large data sets for leadership and business units.
• Define data requirements, collect, process, clean, analyze, and visualize data from multiple lines of business.
• Lead data analytics projects with minimal supervision and provide actionable insights.
• Consult with audit teams to apply analytics best practices on engagements.
• Manage projects from inception through deployment and maintenance.
• Build and maintain descriptive statistics for BI/data science initiatives.
• Partner with data science teams to maintain statistical models.
• Foster relationships with team members and SMEs.
• Lead small projects and initiatives.
