Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager Data Analytics to join the Global Payment Networks Data Governance and Pricing team. You will manage data risk across NCR, XDS, GDPR/CCPA, and related governance programs, shaping controls and processes for the enterprise-wide analytics initiatives.

You will lead validation projects, mentor junior staff, and communicate results clearly through reports and presentations while collaborating with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, CS or related field with 7+ years analytics experience, or Master’s with 5+ years analytics experience.
At least 5 years of professional data analysis work.
At least 5 years of experience leading and developing with open source data technologies.
At least 2 years of experience managing people.

Responsibilities

Refining a new enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework.
Planning and executing validation projects.
Assessing quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies across Capital One.
Understanding technical issues in analytical tools and assessing tool risks.
Researching and prototyping industry best practices for emerging analytical tools.
Communicating results clearly via validation reports and presentations.
Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
