Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager Data Analytics to join the Global Payment Networks Data Governance and Pricing team. You will manage data risk across NCR, XDS, GDPR/CCPA, and related governance programs, shaping controls and processes for the enterprise-wide analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, CS or related field with 7+ years analytics experience, or Master’s with 5+ years analytics experience.
• At least 5 years of professional data analysis work.
• At least 5 years of experience leading and developing with open source data technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience managing people.

Responsibilities

• Refining a new enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework.
• Planning and executing validation projects.
• Assessing quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies across Capital One.
• Understanding technical issues in analytical tools and assessing tool risks.
• Researching and prototyping industry best practices for emerging analytical tools.
• Communicating results clearly via validation reports and presentations.
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
