Job summary

Tcs Ct Usa is seeking a senior data analytics professional in Cary, NC, to translate business problems into analytical solutions and drive end-to-end data engineering initiatives. The role is highly technical, focusing on ETL design, data governance, and governance-enabled data quality improvements.

You will collaborate with data science and IT teams, validate data loads, and ensure accurate data transformations using Informatica MFT, DBT, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of solutions development / analysis experience, including 5+ years in data management/engineering.
• Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles and informatica Scripts / MFT.
• Extensive experience in data analysis and data modeling (table design).
• Proficiency in SQLs and data exploratory tools.
• Extensive experience writing functional requirements and high-level design documents.
• Experience in writing validation scripts to validate the data, data integrations and ETL transformations.
• Analytical skills to analyze situations and come to optimal and efficient solution based on requirements.
• Strong data analysis and profiling skills.
• Data warehouse concepts.
• Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• SQL knowledge and data analysis skills for data anomaly detection and data quality assurance.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions with defined outcomes.
• Analyze data using SQLs and tools against platforms like Bigdata, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Provide functional requirements and high-level design for ETL teams, with Informatica MFT, DBT, Snowflake.
• Collaborate with ETL and data science teams to review requirements and data integrations.
• Understand business requirements and assess impact on use cases.
• Write validation scripts to validate data loaded by ETL using MFT/DBT.
• Work with IT and business customers to formulate technical design.
• Capture domain knowledge to gather right requirements for design.
• Capture metadata, data lineage, reference data management and data quality rules as part of data governance.
• Coordinate with global teams to drive project delivery.
