Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation's JLG division is seeking a Data Analyst in Frederick, MD to identify, collect, process, and analyze datasets to support informed business decisions. You will assist with data analysis projects, visualization tasks, data quality improvements, and troubleshooting data incidents.

Colleagues in data engineering and data science will collaborate to implement predictive analytics, storytelling for stakeholders, and governance of data views.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in Data Analysis, Information Technology, or related area.
• Proficient with Power BI, Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Ability to travel 20%.
• Experience in data analysis and analytics.
• Ability to influence and storytelling.
• Attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Discover, acquire, explore, prepare, assess and maintain datasets from multiple sources.
• Perform data analysis, visualization tasks, data quality improvements and troubleshoot data incidents.
• Serve as SME in SQL and statistical techniques for data acquisition and analysis.
• Review and approve data views and documentation to ensure governance standards.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists on project requirements and analytics opportunities.
