Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking a Business Data Analyst to collaborate with business teams to identify data opportunities and support decision management through analytics.

You will develop forecasts, build dashboards, and present insights to leaders, using SQL, Tableau, Cognos, SAS, and Excel, while ensuring data quality and governance. This role requires strong communication and 4+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, analytics, math, economics, CS, or related field.
• 4+ years of analytics experience with data and reporting.
• Experience in Financial/Operational domains and cross-functional projects.
• Experience building complex SQL queries to join/filter/aggregate data.
• Experience creating visualizations and dashboards to track KPIs.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and relational structures.
• Strategic business sense and curiosity for program planning and partnerships.
• Ability to document and analyze business requirements clearly.
• Flexible and able to change priorities quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical skills.
• Keeps current with new techniques and software; expert in Excel.
