The Senior Data Analytics Engineer role at AeroVironment will be critical in developing and enhancing our Oracle-based data warehouse infrastructure to support enterprise-wide Power BI analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical data engineering and business intelligence, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
7+ years Oracle database development and data warehousing.
7+ years advanced SQL with complex queries and optimization.
5+ years Power BI development creating dashboards and semantic models.
7+ years ETL/ELT pipeline development and data integration.
7+ years cross-functional collaboration with teams.
Experience in aerospace/defense/manufacturing with supply chain exposure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data accuracy.
Excellent communication to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record delivering data solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities

Design, optimize Oracle data warehouse schemas and structures for BI.
Build and maintain ETL pipelines from multiple sources into the warehouse.
Develop Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
Perform SQL development for data manipulation, QA, and analysis.
Design data models balancing performance, maintainability, scalability, and business needs.
Troubleshoot data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and integrations.
Stay current with emerging data warehousing and BI technologies.
