Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Delivery Consultant- Data & Analytics to design and deliver cloud data architectures for federal/state/local government and national security customers.

You will build data lakes, data warehouses, and scalable analytics platforms while guiding data migration and modernization strategies. You will lead technical design, engage with stakeholders, and mentor the team, ensuring secure, cost-effective, and performant data solutions across complex projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience.
• 5+ years of database experience (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
• 3+ years of cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent).
• 7+ years of customer-facing, large-scale projects.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation.

Responsibilities

• Clarify customer business outcomes and translate them into data architecture and engineering solutions.
• Design and build scalable, secure data analytics applications in the cloud.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and plan migrations/modernization.
• Identify risks and communicate trade-offs in data solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor on data technologies and industry trends.
• Share knowledge through mentoring and reusable artifacts.
