You will design, build, and optimize data architectures for government and national security customers, guiding migrations and modernization strategies while collaborating with top technologists. The role is client-facing, requiring on-site work at client locations and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience.
• 5+ years of database (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience.
• 3+ years of cloud based solutions (AWS or equivalent) and systems knowledge.
• 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, large scale project management.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience.
• Experience with SQL, Python, schema definition and secure, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Clarify customer outcomes and translate them into data architecture and engineering solutions.
• Design and build scalable, secure data analytics applications in the cloud.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and plan migrations.
• Identify risks and communicate trade-offs to customers and teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor on data technologies and industry trends.
• Mentor teammates and share reusable artifacts.
