Job summary

Kforce Inc. in Princeton, NJ is seeking a senior Data Analyst to join our data analytics team. You will analyze information from multiple business systems to support operational and product decisions, and build dashboards and reports in Power BI.

You will validate datasets, identify trends, and partner with business and technical teams to translate needs into effective solutions. A strong SQL background, advanced Excel, and experience with insurance data are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, systems analysis, or a related role.
• Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience creating reports and visualizations with Power BI or a comparable analytics platform.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookup functions, pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information from multiple business systems to support operational and product decisions.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
• Prepare, reconcile, and validate datasets to ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify trends, data inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Investigate reporting issues and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Establish data quality controls, validation standards, and monitoring procedures.
