Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a data analyst to support operational and product decisions by analyzing information from multiple systems and building dashboards and reports. The role emphasizes data quality, validation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, systems analysis, or a related role.
• Experience supporting reporting platforms, operational systems, or data-driven business functions.
• Knowledge of underwriting, policy administration, claims, or insurance operations is beneficial.
• Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience creating reports and visualizations with Power BI or a comparable analytics platform.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, systems analysis, or a related role
• Experience supporting reporting platforms, operational systems, or data-driven business functions
• Property and casualty insurance experience preferred
• Knowledge of underwriting, policy administration, claims, or insurance operations is beneficial
• Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing and manipulating large datasets
• Experience creating reports and visualizations with Power BI or a comparable analytics platform
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookup functions, pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, testing, and issue investigation
• Familiarity with Agile practices and project management or documentation tools
• Understanding of system integrations, data transformations, and application interfaces preferred
• Exposure to insurance technology platforms is a plus
• Interest in artificial intelligence and emerging analytics capabilities is beneficial
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
