Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) to analyze and document business data and processes, and to create reports supporting business needs. You will work with encounter data, writing SQL queries and reports to identify trends and anomalies.

Responsibilities include defining system enhancements, prioritizing updates, executing test scripts, and collaborating with stakeholders across teams to deliver solutions in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant programming or analytical experience.
• Experience in a data warehouse environment and handling large data sets from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to diverse audiences.
• Strong collaboration within and across teams.
• Claims/Encounters experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports for analysis of data trends or anomalies.
• Proactively define, develop, and implement system enhancements to support strategic goals.
• Assist in development and prioritization of system updates; execute test scripts and report results.
• Write and modify SQL, interpret results, and conduct root cause analysis, developing long- and short-term solutions.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and be responsible for outcomes.
• Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
