Job summary

First Citizens Bank in Raleigh seeks a senior Wealth Management technology lead to design, maintain, and modernize core platforms. You will manage ETL pipelines and data integration using SSIS and SQL Server, while guiding modernization efforts and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will lead cross-functional teams across development, architecture, and operations, owning delivery from design to production. This hybrid role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and six years of experience in technology roles.
• Extensive experience in .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API development.
• Six years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and enterprise ETL design and scheduling.
• Experience supporting Wealth Management, Trust, or Financial Services platforms with complex data and regulatory requirements.
• Strong background in production support, ETL operations, and large-scale data processing environments.
• Experience working with legacy and modernized architectures and leading technical initiatives while remaining hands-on.
• Experience working with FIS, SEI and Envestnet.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and modernize core Wealth Management tech platforms.
• Lead data pipelines and ETL processes across SSIS and SQL Server.
• Coordinate modernization efforts, including migration to enterprise schedulers CA7 and ESP.
• Provide production support, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Drive release planning, deployments, and rollback strategies for production.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
