Job summary

Aflac in the Digital Services division is seeking aSr Data Analyst to mentor analysts, build analytics tooling, and deliver executive-level insights from client program performance and organizational data.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data accuracy, and the ability to work independently or with a team, with remote work from the continental US and a salary range of $70,000–$105,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven analytical skills with ability to mentor/train analysts and partners.
• Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communication at all management levels.
• Knowledge of operations of the business and the insurance industry.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• SQL, Python, DataViz are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs organizational research by gathering, interpreting and comparing data to benchmarks and best practices, identifying issues, trends and opportunities and providing insights/recommendations.
• Develops tactical reporting and analysis frameworks for multiple business areas.
• Develops and updates mathematical modeling tools for internal areas.
• Leads special projects requiring analytical expertise and executive-level presentations.
• Ensures measures and reports are defined and implemented to assess performance.
• Remains current with software to build reports and conduct analysis efficiently.
• Partners to lead analytics tool architecture, development, and deployment for efficiency and scale.
• Conducts in-depth data analysis on client program performance and employee experience.
• Mentors and supports development of analysts across US Analytics and other areas.
• Assists with strategic planning by gathering metrics and delivering tracking deliverables.
• Performs other duties as required.
