Job summary

Aflac Columbus is seeking a Sr Data Analyst to join the Digital Services division. This remote role is within the continental US with possible office visits. You will mentor analysts, develop analytical methods, and deliver data-driven insights.

You will use SQL, Python, and data visualization to analyze client program performance and organizational effectiveness. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of job-related experience.
• Proven analytical skills with ability to mentor and train analysts and business partners.
• Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communications.
• SQL, Python, DataViz are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs organizational research by gathering, interpreting and comparing data to benchmarks and provides insights/recommendations.
• Develops tactical reporting and analysis frameworks across at least three business areas.
• Develops and updates modeling tools for internal areas.
• Leads special projects with analytical expertise and executive presentations.
• Ensures measures and reports are defined to assess performance.
• Keeps abreast of software to build reports and conduct analysis efficiently.
• Partners to lead analytics tool development enabling efficiency and scale.
• Conducts in-depth data analysis on client program performance and employee experience.
• Mentors and supports the development of analysts across US Analytics.
• Supports strategic efforts by gathering metrics and creating deliverables.
• Performs other related duties as required.
