Scale AI's Data Analytics team places analysts across delivery, operations, finance, and engineering to turn ambiguous problems into actionable insights. As a Senior Data Analyst for Public Sector, you will build analytics solutions from the ground up—partnering with leadership to solve complex problems, design dashboards, build tables, and perform ad-hoc analyses that shape Scale's Public Sector business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced SQL skills and data modeling experience (DBT).
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau or Metabase.
• Strong business acumen and stakeholder partnering.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate analysis into narrative.
• Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
• Active Secret U.S. security clearance is required; Top Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own data quality for your domain—document models, troubleshoot discrepancies, define metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track key metrics for monitoring and decision making.
• Develop repeatable, scalable analytics solutions such as dashboards and data models.
• Partner with Ops to measure efficiency initiatives and their impact on cost, quality and delivery.
• Partner with Finance to analyze cost drivers and inform pricing strategy.
• Dig into complex problems and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
• Own analytics deliverables from data extraction to storytelling for leadership.
