Job summary

Current is a leading consumer fintech platform based in NYC, serving over 6 million members. We seek a Senior Data Analyst, Product Analytics to drive analytics across product areas, lead experiments, build business cases, and present insights to leadership.

You will mentor analysts, partner with analytics engineers, and contribute to dashboards and data reliability. The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration with product/engineering, and using AI tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in a data analytics role with at least 3 years in product analytics.
• 2-3 years in a consumer fintech or similar B2C setting.
• Advanced SQL in cloud data warehouse environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
• Python experience for data analysis, automation, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Own the product analytics agenda across embedded areas, collaborating with product, engineering, finance, and business leaders.
• Lead design, execution, and interpretation of experiments including power, sample sizing, and methods.
• Perform deep-dive analyses on trends, funnels, retention, and engagement to reveal opportunities.
• Build business cases sizing opportunities and informing roadmaps and investments.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and Looker explores tracking KPIs across product, finance, and operations.
