Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that improve warehouse performance and efficiency. You will build dashboards, design data models, and support data-driven decision making across multiple sites.

Lead projects and startups while serving as a central resource for analytics tools and best practices. You will collaborate with site leadership, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to deliver standardized reporting and impactful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent professional experience, required.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, required.
• Extensive experience using SQL or other scripting languages (such as Python or R) to query, clean, and transform data, required.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards and reports from scratch, required.
• Proficiency in writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports, required.
• Experience designing and managing data pipelines and working with diverse data sources, required.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data modeling techniques, and modern analytics trends, required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross‑functional projects, required.
• Must be able to work fully onsite if role based out of a warehouse, required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Full development of Power BI including data visualization and back‑end data model design.
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements.
• Implement and maintain standard reporting tools for the site or sector.
• Assist various functional teams (HR, Finance, etc.) with customized analytical solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Serve as a point of contact for Power BI‑related questions and analytics community initiatives.
• Lead knowledge‑sharing sessions to promote data literacy and tool adoption.
• Manage analytics projects independently and across multiple sites.
• Design and implement data pipelines (ETL) from structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured sources.
• Apply Python, R, or other analytics tools to enhance reporting and automation.
• Stay current with modern data analytics trends and apply best practices to improve processes.
• Support site startups as needed by implementing analytics tools and reporting frameworks.
