Job summary

The Multnomah County Department of Community Justice seeks a Data Analyst Senior to join the Research & Planning team. You will work on research and data services for the department, collecting, interpreting, analyzing, and disseminating information used by stakeholders for operational decision-making, policy formulation, mandatory reporting, quality assurance, and release to the public.

Qualifications

• Experience with statistical analysis, data reporting, and QA.
• Ability to communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience sharing complex data with stakeholders in multidisciplinary settings.
• Design and interpretation of dashboards and data visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from a variety of data sources to answer key policy questions related to the supervision of adults supervised by the Department of Community Justice.
• Maintain awareness of departmental data sources and information needs and reporting formats.
• Collaborate with County analysts and stakeholders to communicate statistical results to diverse audiences.
• Design dashboards and visualizations that engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Link multiple administrative databases using SQL to extract relevant data for policymakers and staff.
