Position: Senior Data Analyst - PBM - REMOTE

Job Requirements
  • At least one year of SQL or similar database programming experience
  • At least one year experience with pharmacy or medical claims
Purpose

The Senior Analyst will build and maintain pharmacy reporting for key Amwins Rx pharmacy benefit management (PBM) initiatives. These include pharmacy claims pricing validation, rebate reporting, regulatory support, and analytics process improvement. They will collaborate with team members and key stakeholders to ensure accurate and maintained end-to-end processes.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics (60%)
  • Build reports and analytics with team guidance
  • Prepare data files and maintain data sources
  • Collaborate with IT and business to gather requirements
  • Support ad-hoc and recurring work
BI & Reporting Development (30%)
  • Design, build, and maintain BI reports
  • Ensure environment accuracy and maintenance

  • Enhance technical skills and knowledge of data structures
  • Partner with leadership to develop industry knowledge

Knowledge, Experience, and Education

  • 5+ years in pharmacy benefit management or related field

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, Python, or similar
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik preferred
  • Knowledge of health insurance and PBM industry pricing practices preferred
  • Knowledge of clinical drug info or rebates preferred
