Job summary

SeatGeek seeks a data-driven analyst to dive deep into the live events marketplace, understanding how supply dynamics drive marketplace health. You will partner with Supply, Product, and Engineering to define an analytics roadmap and quantify policy trade-offs for sellers, while collaborating with Client Success and Entertainment teams to maximize partnership value.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or adjacent roles in tech or marketplaces.
• Strong SQL and ability to analyze large datasets.
• Ability to translate analyses into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the live events marketplace and how supply dynamics affect health of the platform.
• Partner with Supply, Product, and Engineering to define an analytics roadmap.
• Guide seller policy decisions by quantifying trade-offs and measuring impact.
• Collaborate with Client Success and Entertainment teams to maximize value of partnerships.
• Provide data-driven insights to account managers to grow seller relationships.
• Build measurement frameworks and reporting with AI tooling, and work with engineers on rapid iteration.
• Perform exploratory and root-cause analyses to explain performance shifts.
• Translate complex analyses into clear narratives for internal leaders.
• Create or improve key datasets and contribute to tooling like dbt and Hex.
