Job summary

The Senior Data Analyst for the Institutional Research department at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY will develop self-service reporting and standardized data tools, partnering with leadership to support strategic decision-making and compliance with accrediting bodies and government agencies. Responsibilities include extracting, cleaning, analyzing, and summarizing data for surveys such as U.S.

News & World Report, IPEDS, CDS, and other mandatory reports, coordinating with multiple campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, computer science, or business analytics required.
• 5+ years’ experience in institutional research or related analytics; 2+ years in higher education.
• Proficiency with SAS, SPSS, Informer, and Tableau for data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, analyze, and summarize data for internal and external reporting.
• Lead surveys and accreditation reporting (IPEDS, CDS, NYSED, etc.).
• Collaborate across college offices to design data management and reporting processes.
• Support strategy development and institutional planning with data insights.
