Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for the Developer Led Growth (DLG) team in Chicago. You will own analytics end-to-end, delivering decision-ready dashboards and data models, and running A/B experiments to inform product, marketing, and sales decisions.

You will leverage SQL, dbt, Snowflake, and Tableau to turn complex data into actionable insights, collaborating with a small data team and stakeholders across the company. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analytics with strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• dbt, Snowflake, Tableau, and Git are preferred.
• Experience design and interpretation of measurement frameworks for product-led initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a single source of truth for DLG performance using Tableau dashboards plus Snowflake, Streamlit, and dbt models.
• Turn cross-functional data into clear narratives and recommendations for stakeholders across product, marketing, sales, finance, and ops.
• Proactively spot gaps, discrepancies, and opportunities in the data, then communicate findings to drive action.
• Own analytics roadmap prioritization: scope requests, push back when needed, and make tradeoffs transparent.
• Analyze A/B experiments and DLG initiatives, designing measurement frameworks that stand up to scrutiny.
• Automate and scale workflows using AI tools, custom SQL, and other approaches to reduce manual effort.
• Write clean, well-documented SQL and dbt models that teammates can build on.
