Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Data Analyst for its Connecticut operations in Windsor. The role focuses on extracting insights from customer data across the bill journey, supporting collections, write-offs, and AR management.

Collaboration with IT and business units will drive improvements and automation. The candidate will leverage SQL, SAP data, and Power BI to deliver dashboards and predictive insights, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business related field or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) plus years of related experience in data analysis with statistics, database design and communication.
• Strong experience with data querying, extraction, and manipulation using SQL or similar languages.
• Experience with SAP and large-scale databases.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Familiarity with AI tools to improve data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex queries and analyze SAP data to support collections activities and AR management.
• Investigate, track, and resolve data and system issues impacting performance, partnering with IT.
• Design, develop and maintain data tools, databases, data dictionaries and documentation.
• Utilize Power BI to enhance data-driven decision making and automate recurring reports.
• Monitor collections performance and AR trends; provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Review policies and regulatory filings to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop forecasts and analytical models to support planning, resource allocation and strategies.
