Job summary

The Lockwood Group in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead analytics and modeling for Army aviation and missile-system supply chains, reporting to the SCOS program team. You will guide descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, mentor junior analysts, and ensure data quality across structured and unstructured supply chain datasets.

• Army logistics-system, LMP, AMCOM, aviation, or missile experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of analytics experience with 3 years in supply-chain analytics.
• Expertise in data mining, statistical modeling, machine learning, and Tableau or Power BI.
• If selected, you will be included as key personnel in a proposal and required to sign a Letter of Commitment. You are required to have or be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance for the duration of the contract.

Job description

The Army Supply Chain Optimization Support (SCOS) program provides advanced analytical operations, inventory management, and transport optimization and supports Army aviation and missile systems handled by tenant commands at Redstone Arsenal. The Senior Data Analyst to lead data analytics and modeling and oversee descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytical products supporting Army aviation and missile-system supply chains.

Responsibilities:

• Lead advanced data analytics, modeling, and visualization and mentor junior analysts.
• Collect, clean, integrate, and analyze structured and unstructured supply-chain data from authorized sources.

Qualifications:
