Job summary

The Lockwood Group is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to lead logistics analysis and process optimization at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. You will oversee supply chain performance, identify improvements, and direct junior analysts as part of a contract effort for AMCOM.

You must possess a SECRET clearance eligibility and demonstrate extensive Army logistics expertise to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years Army logistics experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) software system used by the U.S. Army.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Experience with transportation optimization.

Responsibilities

Job description

U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) is responsible for life-cycle fleet management, sustainment, logistics, and maintenance for Army aviation platforms and missile systems.

TheSenior Logistics Analyst will work at Redstone Arsenal and be the lead for Logistics Analysis and Process Optimization Analyzes. You will be responsible for supply chain performance, identify improvements and direct junior analysts.

Required experience

• Bachelor’s in Logistics, Business, or related.
• 7+ years Army logistics
• 3+ years hands-on experience with the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) software system used by the U.S. Army
• Inventory management
• Transportation optimization

If selected, you will be included as key personnel in a proposal and required to sign a Letter of Commitment. Upon contract award, you will be hired.

You are required to have or be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance for the duration of the contract.
