Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Data Analyst to support enterprise-wide reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives in New York. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to transform business requirements into actionable insights, scalable reporting solutions, and data-driven decision making.

You will write SQL queries, build dashboards with Tableau, and collaborate on data governance and data pipelines to ensure data quality and accessibility across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in data analytics or BI.
  • Strong SQL skills and data analysis
  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI tool
  • Experience with Databricks or cloud analytics environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Overview

A growing organisation is seeking a Data Analyst to support enterprise-wide reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills with business acumen, helping stakeholders understand performance trends, optimise reporting processes, and improve data accessibility across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.

Required Qualifications


  • 2 to 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.

  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and perform data analysis.

  • Experience with Tableau or a comparable data visualisation platform.

  • Experience working with Databricks or similar cloud-based analytics environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.

  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and communicate technical concepts effectively.

  • Experience translating business challenges into end-to-end reporting or analytics solutions.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with dbt.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

  • Educational background from a recognised academic programme or institution.
