Job summary

Fashion Nova, based in Beverly Hills, seeks a Senior Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable strategies across the organization. You will own the full analytics lifecycle, from deep-dive analyses and dashboards to designing robust ML models with SQL and Python for production.

You will create dynamic pricing solutions, integrate AI agents, lead A/B testing, and deliver data-driven insights to senior stakeholders in a fast-growth ecommerce environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• Two years of post-baccalaureate experience in the e-commerce field as a Manager, Data Analytics; Data Analyst; or related role.

Responsibilities

• Exploratory Data Analysis: conduct deep-dive analyses to identify actionable insights and trends that influence strategy.
• Dashboards & Executive Reporting: design and maintain dashboards and executive reports to communicate data narratives to senior stakeholders.
• Machine Learning Solutions: develop ML models using SQL and Python to solve business problems.
• Dynamic Pricing Algorithms: design and maintain pricing algorithms to optimize margins and revenue.
• AI Agent Integration: manage autonomous AI agents to streamline workflows and improve operations.
• A/B Testing & Optimization: run end-to-end tests to improve engagement and conversions.
• Innovation & AI Proofs-of-Concept: research, experiment, and build AI proofs-of-concept for business problems.
• Data Storytelling & Stakeholder Delivery: present data-driven recommendations with visuals to internal and external stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Analytics SME: serve as analytical SME for Marketing, Product, and Finance.
• Data Quality & Collaboration: ensure data quality and consistency across teams.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be a key, high-impact technical driver, responsible for turning complex data into actionable strategies across the organization. This role is ideal for a technically adept and highly autonomous professional who is ready to independently own and execute sophisticated data projects from inception to delivery.

You will master the full analytics lifecycle, operating with minimal supervision: from executing deep-dive exploratory analysis and designing executive-ready data visualizations, to applying advanced skills in SQL and Python to design, build, and productionize robust Machine Learning (ML) models. You must be a proven self-starter with expert analytical and statistical capabilities, capable of translating complex, technical findings into clear, strategic recommendations for senior business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Exploratory Data Analysis: Conduct complex, deep-dive exploratory data analysis to proactively identify non-obvious, actionable insights and significant trends that directly influence business strategy and investment.

• Dashboards & Executive Reporting: Design, build, and maintain a standardized suite of interactive dashboards and executive-level reports, utilizing advanced visualization techniques to effectively communicate data narratives to senior stakeholders.

• Machine Learning Solutions: Develop, build, and productionize robust Machine Learning (ML) models using SQL and Python designed to solve critical business challenges (e.g., forecasting, recommendation engines).

• Dynamic Pricing Algorithms: Design, implement, and maintain dynamic pricing algorithms to optimize profit margins and drive revenue growth across the e-commerce platform.

• AI Agent Integration: Integrate and manage autonomous AI agents to streamline complex workflows, enhance customer interactions, and drive operational efficiency.

• A/B Testing & Optimization: Manage end-to-end A/B testing on the e-commerce website to drive continuous improvements in user engagement and sales conversions.

• Innovation & AI Proofs-of-Concept: Drive innovation by proactively researching, experimenting with, and building proofs-of-concept for how Artificial Intelligence (AI) or advanced methodologies can solve business problems.

• Data Storytelling & Stakeholder Delivery: Deliver business recommendations to internal and external stakeholders based on data analysis by creating visual dashboards, charts, and reports to visualize data, communicate findings, and propose solutions.

• Cross-Functional Analytics SME: Act as the primary analytical subject matter expert for cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Finance), ensuring data integrity, consistency, and alignment on core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Data Quality & Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.

Role Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience in the e-commerce field as a Manager, Data Analytics; Data Analyst; or in a related position.
