Job summary

Fashion Nova, Beverly Hills, CA, seeks a Senior Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable strategies across the organization. You will own the analytics lifecycle, from deep-dive explorations to executive-ready visualizations, and apply ML models using SQL and Python to drive business outcomes.

You will deliver dashboards, partner with cross-functional teams, and champion data storytelling to inform strategic decisions in a fast-growing fashion e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a related field with 2+ years in e-commerce analytics or data roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; strong data visualization and storytelling skills.
• Experience with Tableau and BigQuery for analytics and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis to identify actionable insights and trends.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and executive reports for senior stakeholders.
• Develop, deploy, and productionize ML models using SQL and Python to solve business challenges.
• Design, implement, and maintain dynamic pricing algorithms to optimize profitability on the e-commerce platform.
• Integrate autonomous AI agents to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Plan and execute A/B tests to optimize user engagement and conversions on the site.
• Drive innovation by researching AI methods and building proofs-of-concept to solve business problems.
• Deliver data-driven recommendations and visualizations to cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Finance).
• Ensure data quality and governance across analytics initiatives.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be a key, high-impact technical driver, responsible for turning complex data into actionable strategies across the organization. This role is ideal for a technically adept and highly autonomous professional who is ready to independently own and execute sophisticated data projects from inception to delivery.

You will master the full analytics lifecycle, operating with minimal supervision: from executing deep-dive exploratory analysis and designing executive-ready data visualizations, to applying advanced skills in SQL and Python to design, build, and productionize robust Machine Learning (ML) models. You must be a proven self-starter with expert analytical and statistical capabilities, capable of translating complex, technical findings into clear, strategic recommendations for senior business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Exploratory Data Analysis: Conduct complex, deep-dive exploratory data analysis to proactively identify non-obvious, actionable insights and significant trends that directly influence business strategy and investment.
• Dashboards & Executive Reporting: Design, build, and maintain a standardized suite of interactive dashboards and executive-level reports, utilizing advanced visualization techniques to effectively communicate data narratives to senior stakeholders.
• Machine Learning Solutions: Develop, build, and productionize robust Machine Learning (ML) models using SQL and Python designed to solve critical business challenges (e.g., forecasting, recommendation engines).
• Dynamic Pricing Algorithms: Design, implement, and maintain dynamic pricing algorithms to optimize profit margins and drive revenue growth across the e-commerce platform.
• AI Agent Integration: Integrate and manage autonomous AI agents to streamline complex workflows, enhance customer interactions, and drive operational efficiency.
• A/B Testing & Optimization: Manage end-to-end A/B testing on the e-commerce website to drive continuous improvements in user engagement and sales conversions.
• Innovation & AI Proofs-of-Concept: Drive innovation by proactively researching, experimenting with, and building proofs-of-concept for how Artificial Intelligence (AI) or advanced methodologies can solve business problems.
• Data Storytelling & Stakeholder Delivery: Deliver business recommendations to internal and external stakeholders based on data analysis by creating visual dashboards, charts, and reports to visualize data, communicate findings, and propose solutions.
• Cross-Functional Analytics SME: Act as the primary analytical subject matter expert for cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Finance), ensuring data integrity, consistency, and alignment on core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Data Quality & Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.

Role Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience in the e-commerce field as a Manager, Data Analytics; Data Analyst; or in a related position.
