Job summary

Providence Anaheim is seeking a Health Informatics Analyst to bridge business partners and information services in a clinical environment, focusing on data capture, analysis and visualization for the Affiliated Network.

You will develop designs and reporting analyses, translate business requirements, validate solutions, and drive productivity improvements that enhance care delivery and insights across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
• 3 years hands-on experience with ambulatory information systems and/or analytic systems (practice management, claims, or EHR).
• Driving may be necessary; must comply with state driving laws; provide license and auto insurance upon request.

• Identify effective capture, analysis and visualization of data for the Affiliated Network.
• Develop, design and report analyses; support data visualization dashboards and other mediums.
• Advocate for productivity improvements and translate business requirements into system designs.

Job description

Under the direction of the Manager, Health Informatics, this position serves as a liaison between business partners and information services teams to identify effective capture, analysis and visualization of data. This role will contribute to the development, design and reporting analysis for the Affiliated Network and requires a strong knowledge of business operations in a clinical environment. Able to identify business requirements, researches optional solutions, facilitates system design and user validation testing, and advocates for productivity/process improvements. Ideal candidate is passionate about data and providing insight to others via visualization dashboards or other mediums.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field. Or Relevant experience and/or appropriate certifications may be substituted.
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• 3 years Hands-on experience with ambulatory information systems and/or analytic systems (practice management, claims management, or electronic health record system).

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years Healthcare information systems experience applying analytical methodologies, with specific experience utilizing business and/or clinical applications.
• Customer support experience.
• Experience with system integration and electronic data interchange.
