Job summary

Aquent partners with a global leader in consumer goods to redefine supply chain efficiency. As a Senior Analytics and Automation lead, you will shape how materials are sourced and planned, using advanced data platforms and AI to turn complex data into actionable strategies.

You will design end-to-end data workflows, build real-time dashboards, mentor teams, and present executive-ready insights to influence high-level decisions across a truly global enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in data analytics, analytics engineering, or supply chain ops with leadership or senior IC scope.
• Expert-level SQL for data querying, manipulation, and pipeline development.
• Strong Python for automation, data modeling, and application logic.
• Experience building production analytics in Databricks with dashboards.
• Proven ability to use AI-assisted development environments (Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Proficiency with Git for version control and deployment.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading end-to-end process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement reporting and automation strategy for materials operations.
• Design, build, and operate reporting and decision-support experiences with real-time KPIs.
• Architect end-to-end data workflows to reduce manual effort and accelerate insights.
• Leverage SQL, Python, and Databricks to transform large-scale datasets into scalable analytics.
• Lead AI-powered development initiatives using Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
• Identify, design, and lead high-impact process improvement initiatives with stakeholders.
• Craft executive-ready data narratives to drive alignment and action.
• Serve as senior SME for analytical and automation tools, establishing standards and docs.
