Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix seeks a Senior Advanced Software Architect to design and advance sophisticated software architectures that power innovative aerospace solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical needs.

You will shape architectural strategy, drive technical quality, and enable delivery of high-value, data-driven software that improves operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, with hands-on leadership across data, AI, and cloud-native

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 6 years of proven experience in software architecture design and development, with a focus on data, analytics, and AI.
• Knowledge of data analytics design patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
• 6 years of hands-on experience with Gov Cloud, or Python, Spark, Databricks, Gemini, Agentic AI, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous frameworks such as Python (FastAPI) or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph and LangChain.
• Experience building responsive, data-driven user interfaces using modern UI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced software architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams.
• Participate in architectural reviews, code quality assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
