Job summary

MojoTech is seeking a Senior Data & AI Architect to lead client engagements across data architecture, AI delivery, and growth. You will design scalable data pipelines on AWS using S3, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, Redshift, and Step Functions, and deliver end-to-end AI solutions including LLM integrations.

Strong Python, SQL, and cloud data platform experience are required. The role combines hands-on data engineering with client leadership, mentoring engineers, and shaping data/AI roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
• Expert-level proficiency with AWS data services; Databricks certification is a plus
• Exceptional Python skills for data engineering and automation; strong SQL
• Experience with Databricks or Apache Spark and at least one cloud ML platform (e.g., AWS SageMaker)
• Experience with Airflow and AWS Step Functions
• Solid understanding of data modeling, streaming, and pipeline design patterns

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements across data architecture and AI delivery
• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines on AWS and modern platforms
• Deliver end-to-end models and AI agents from data preprocessing to deployment
• Mentor engineers and evolve data platforms and AI-enabled systems
• Partner with sales and account teams on proposals and solution approaches
• Ensure data quality, security, and CI/CD/DevOps practices across projects
• Drive delivery aligned with goals, timelines, and budgets
