Job summary

Kanak Elite Services Inc. is seeking a Data & AI Architect to design, deliver, and optimize enterprise data and AI solutions across a large organization.

The role is hands-on and requires collaboration with business and operational teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements for multi-cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate brings Azure-focused experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and hands-on fluency with AI development tooling, with exposure to other cloud providers

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall experience in data engineering, data architecture, software engineering, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on design across two major cloud providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with relational, NoSQL, analytical/warehouse, and vector/graph databases.
• Practical work across AI/ML and generative-AI frameworks, models, and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders across departments to elicit and shape data/AI use cases.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements documents.
• Present solutions and drive requirements through to approval.
• Architect end-to-end data and AI solutions across ingestion, storage, modeling, serving, and consumption layers.
• Design and implement solutions using agentic development tooling for faster delivery with quality and security.
• Define reference architectures and standards for data/AI across multi-cloud environments.
• Ensure security, privacy, governance, cost efficiency, and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, platform, and product teams to move to production.
• Mentor engineers and analysts in data/AI best practices.
