The role emphasizes cutting-edge analytics, collaboration with data scientists and engineers, and opportunities to research new data technologies. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience; equivalent experience considered.
• Proven track record in data and AI architectures.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design the architecture for data and AI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
• Engage with business units to understand requirements and translate into technical designs.
• Create data and AI architectural solutions for complex problems in architecture, engineering and environmental science.
• Scale data and AI solutions across different business units.
• Create architecture and technical design documents for data and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and stakeholders.
• Stay current with new technologies and best practices and how they apply to CDM Smith.
• Develop documentation, standards, and workflows for data technology hardware/software used across the business.
• Present to external audiences as needed.
• Assist with marketing, communications, and business development descriptions and activities as needed.
