Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a Data Recording technician for the Development Operations group to support engine instrumentation and testing across multiple sites. The role emphasizes calibration, installation, and troubleshooting of data acquisition systems with strong interaction with engineering and operations teams.

This 2nd shift position (3pm–11:30pm) requires a HS Diploma or equivalent, 4 years of technician experience, and U.S. citizenship for security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training).
• 4 years of technician experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Current U.S. Government security clearance.
• Experience with sensor types and data acquisition systems.
• Balance between mechanical and electrical aptitudes.

Responsibilities

• Support engine instrumentation and test facility readiness for development and production testing.
• Install, troubleshoot and calibrate data acquisition systems and sensor wiring.
• Collaborate with test engineering and operations teams; communicate findings clearly.
• Operate data acquisition systems during validation testing and ensure data quality.
