Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Senior Dark Web Analyst to lead and advance its underground intelligence collection capabilities in the security practice. This role demands hands-on CTI work, leadership, and direct reporting to senior stakeholders in a global security program.

You will mentor analysts, develop persona-based collection, and produce actionable intelligence for operational teams while coordinating with legal and compliance on governance and ethics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cyber threat intelligence (CTI) or equivalent.
• 3+ years direct dark web/underground collection experience.
• Hands-on with two+ platforms (Flashpoint, Intel 471, Cybersixgill, Recorded Future).
• 1+ year leading, mentoring, or supervising analysts.
• 12+ months operating personas within restricted online communities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Executing persona-based access and intelligence collection within criminal forums and marketplaces.
• Monitoring ransomware leak sites, IAB activity, and underground ecosystem trends.
• Producing intelligence reporting derived from firsthand collection activities.
• Developing and executing collection requirements aligned to stakeholder needs.
• Evaluating source credibility and validating claims within underground environments.
• Maintaining secure persona infrastructure and anonymized collection environments.
• Mentoring junior analysts and supporting persona development lifecycle.
• Partnering with legal and compliance stakeholders to ensure adherence to collection authorities.
• Delivering briefings to senior stakeholders while protecting sensitive collection methodologies.
