Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering (required).
• Professional registration (P.E. or P.G.) (required).
• 7+ years of directly relevant consulting experience (required).
• Experience with geotechnical software and slope stability analysis (required).
• Ability to travel to client facilities (required).
• Excellent writing and communication skills (required).

Responsibilities

• Civil design and site layout.
• Monitoring heavy civil construction projects.
• Geotechnical engineering analyses such as slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, seismic, and seepage.
• Dam and levee evaluations.
• Geotechnical and site characterization.
• Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems.
• Project/task management and proposal preparation support.
• Developing construction documents.
• Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications; and
• Fieldwork associated with design and construction services.
• Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
