Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. is seeking a Damage Control Inspector – Subject Matter Expert Trainer to support CNSP and the Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT). The role focuses on expert guidance of shipboard damage control systems and practices, working directly with sailors to improve readiness and proficiency.

Responsibilities include identifying deficiencies, strengthening damage control practices, and traveling extensively to CONUS/OCONUS locations to conduct shipboard visits and training.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of supervisory experience in analyses, information system operations, and implementation of technical projects.
• Extensive Navy technical management across multiple ships.
• Extensive experience as a shipboard Damage Control supervisor on multiple ships.
• Operational and damage control experience within the last five years.
• Knowledge of advanced damage control practices used by the U.S. Navy.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS for shipboard visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on shipboard damage control systems, equipment, practices and procedures.
• Identify equipment and personnel deficiencies and strengthen damage control readiness.
• Work with shipboard personnel to improve overall damage control readiness.
