Job summary

Schnabel Engineering seeks a Senior Resident Project Representative for dam construction sites across the United States. The role requires on-site leadership, QA/QC oversight, and interface with Owner, Schnabel staff, and Contractors to ensure contract compliance and project success.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in dams or heavy civil work, strong communication, and familiarity with CMT procedures; travel to various project locations is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in dams, water resources and/or heavy civil construction.
• Experience with earthwork, concrete, lime treatment or RCC; increasing responsibility.
• Knowledge of CMT procedures and test interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC on dam construction sites and liaise with Owner and Contractor teams.
• Document construction means, methods, and material installations per specs.
• Maintain QA logs, participate in progress and CM meetings, review change orders.
• Track progress, manpower, equipment, and daily observations with photos.
• Support submittal reviews, substitutions, and dispute resolution as needed.
