GFT seeks a Senior Hydraulic Structures Engineer to join the Dams & Hydraulics team in Greenwood Village near Denver, CO. The role offers flexible work options, including fully remote or hybrid models, reporting to the Greenwood Village office.

You will lead analysis, design, and rehabilitation of hydraulic structures, mentor junior staff, and coordinate client engagements. A PE license and 15+ years in dam projects are required, with strong communication skills essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in structural, civil, or mechanical engineering.
15+ years in dams/hydraulic structures design, evaluation, rehabilitation.
PE licensure in at least one US state.
Experience as Engineer of Record or technical lead.
Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead evaluation, analysis, rehabilitation, and design of concrete dams and hydraulic structures.
Develop engineering analyses, design criteria, hand calculations, and finite element models.
Serve as Engineer of Record, reviewer, or senior technical advisor.
Mentor and lead engineers and staff on technical tasks.
Lead field inspections and condition assessments for existing structures.
Prepare and review calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
