Job summary

Merck is seeking a Sr. Specialist, BA Digital Asset Management to lead Adobe AEM Assets governance, metadata standards, and enterprise content storage across the content supply chain.

You will design, configure, and continuously improve a scalable DAM capability, enabling findability, reuse, and compliant asset lifecycle management with integration touchpoints to Workfront, Veeva PromoMats, and Creative Cloud.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in digital asset management or related platform operations in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with Adobe AEM Assets: ingestion, metadata schemas, folders, permissions, tagging, lifecycle management.
• Experience defining taxonomy, metadata standards, naming conventions, rights attributes.
• Understanding DAM connections to upstream/downstream systems (Workfront, Veeva PromoMats, Adobe CC, Firefly, GenStudio).
• Translate business needs into DAM requirements, procedures, and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on AEM Assets, DAM practices, taxonomy, metadata, access, and storage standards.
• Advise on DAM design decisions, governance, metadata quality, and content reuse.
• Document business requirements, folder structures, metadata schemas, tagging rules, and support processes.
• Lead testing, UAT, defect resolution, migration readiness, and user enablement.
