Job summary

IntePros is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to optimize high-volume dairy/food manufacturing processes in Monett, Missouri. The role combines hands-on plant-floor leadership with deep expertise in fluid processing systems to drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effective operations.

You will lead cross-functional improvements, deploy process-control strategies, and support capital projects from concept to commissioning while ensuring HACCP/GMP compliance and rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering required.
• 8+ years in regulated food/beverage manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in liquid/food processing systems (heat treatment, filtration, blending, CIP).
• Proven experience in process optimization and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on with process design tools including P&IDs and control systems.
• Experience leading capital projects from concept to implementation.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and QMS; process safety (FMEA, HAZOP).

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert in fluid-based processing systems, supporting daily operations and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and optimize processes to improve throughput, yield, cycle time, and OEE.
• Lead initiatives to reduce waste, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance process capability.
• Design and implement process improvements while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive improvements.
• Support and lead capital projects including equipment upgrades, new installations, and commissioning.
• Conduct process capability and statistical analysis to monitor performance and predict trends.
• Develop and maintain process documentation including P&IDs, SOPs, and control strategies.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, regulatory requirements.
• Perform risk assessments and process safety initiatives (FMEA, HAZOP).
