Job summary

ALIS Software LLC is seeking a seasoned MS Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant for a long-term Austin, TX contract. You will lead complex D365 Finance projects, gather requirements, and deliver scalable financial solutions across GL, AP, AR, and more.

The role requires 13+ years of ERP consulting and 5+ years specifically in D365 Finance, with strong stakeholder engagement and a focus on best practices and deployment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and executives is essential.

Qualifications

Lead D365 Finance implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support engagements.
Gather business requirements and translate into scalable D365 Finance solutions.
Configure and optimize Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cost Accounting.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations teams for seamless financial integration.
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Design and implement P2P, O2C, and R2R processes.
Participate in solution design workshops and business process re-engineering initiatives.
Develop functional design documents and support technical teams during development.
Define data migration strategy and validate migrated financial data.
Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
Drive adoption of best practices and standard D365 capabilities.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and business users.
Work with executive stakeholders to align ERP solutions with business goals.
12+ years of ERP consulting experience with strong Microsoft Dynamics expertise.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
Experience integrating Finance with: Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing Operations.
Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance processes.
Experience with data migration, testing, training, and deployment activities.
Ability to conduct solution workshops and stakeholder discussions independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
