Job summary

Coforge seeks a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant in Austin to drive end-to-end ERP implementations, finance transformation, and process optimization across manufacturing, distribution, and retail sectors.

You will collaborate with finance, operations, and technology partners to design, configure, and deploy D365 Finance modules, lead workshops, and mentor junior staff while ensuring strong financial controls and successful data migration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years ERP consulting experience with strong Microsoft Dynamics expertise.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management.
• Experience integrating Finance with Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, and Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Lead D365 Finance implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support engagements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable D365 Finance solutions.
• Configure and optimize Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, and Cost Accounting.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure seamless financial integration.
• Support month-end/year-end closings and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities; mentor junior consultants.

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant with 12+ years of experience in ERP implementation, finance transformation, and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in D365 Finance and strong experience working with manufacturing, distribution, retail, wholesale, supply chain, and inventory-driven organizations.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, operations teams, and technology partners to drive end-to-end D365 Finance implementations, process improvements, integrations, and support initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead D365 Finance implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support engagements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable D365 Finance solutions.
• Configure and optimize Finance modules including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets
• Cash & Bank Management
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Cost Accounting
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure seamless financial integration.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Design and implement Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Participate in solution design workshops and business process re-engineering initiatives.
• Develop functional design documents and support technical teams during development.
• Define data migration strategy and validate migrated financial data.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
• Drive adoption of best practices and standard D365 capabilities.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and business users.
• Work with executive stakeholders to align ERP solutions with business goals.

• Experience in furniture, retail, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, consumer products, or eCommerce domains. These environments typically involve extensive inventory management, warehousing, sourcing, procurement, and financial operations.
• Experience with multi-company and multi-entity financial environments.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of Azure integrations and data platforms.
• Experience with third-party logistics (3PL), warehouse, and inventory management integrations.
• Understanding of demand planning, product lifecycle, and supply chain finance processes.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Certifications
• Accounting or Finance-related certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus
