Job summary

ALIS Software LLC is seeking a seasoned MS Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant for a long-term Austin, TX contract. You will lead complex D365 Finance projects, gather requirements, and deliver scalable financial solutions across GL, AP, AR, and more.

The role requires 13+ years of ERP consulting and 5+ years specifically in D365 Finance, with strong stakeholder engagement and a focus on best practices and deployment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and executives is essential.

Qualifications

• Lead D365 Finance implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support engagements.
• Gather business requirements and translate into scalable D365 Finance solutions.
• Configure and optimize Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cost Accounting.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations teams for seamless financial integration.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Design and implement P2P, O2C, and R2R processes.
• Participate in solution design workshops and business process re-engineering initiatives.
• Develop functional design documents and support technical teams during development.
• Define data migration strategy and validate migrated financial data.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
• Drive adoption of best practices and standard D365 capabilities.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and business users.
• Work with executive stakeholders to align ERP solutions with business goals.
• 12+ years of ERP consulting experience with strong Microsoft Dynamics expertise.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Experience integrating Finance with: Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing Operations.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance processes.
• Experience with data migration, testing, training, and deployment activities.
• Ability to conduct solution workshops and stakeholder discussions independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

• Experience with multi-company and multi-entity financial environments.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of Azure integrations and data platforms.
• Experience with third-party logistics (3PL), warehouse, and inventory management integrations.
• Understanding of demand planning, product lifecycle, and supply chain finance processes.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Accounting or Finance-related certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus
