Job summary

Cambay Solutions is seeking a Senior Developer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management to design, customize and extend D365 solutions. The role focuses on X++ development, extensibility, and integrations with external systems.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on D365 F&SCM development experience, deep knowledge of the platform’s architecture, and proficiency with REST/OData, DMF, SSRS, and CI/CD in Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management development.
• Strong hands-on experience with X++ and D365 F&SCM development.
• Strong understanding of D365 F&SCM technical architecture and application framework.
• Experience with Visual Studio and D365 F&SCM development tools.
• Strong knowledge of X++, object-oriented programming, and batch framework.
• Experience with REST/OData APIs and web services.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Experience with DMF and data migrations.
• Experience with SSRS reporting and Electronic Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
• Develop high-quality X++ code using Microsoft-recommended development and extensibility practices.
• Develop and customize tables, forms, classes, queries, enums, batch jobs, workflows, and security models.
• Implement extensions, Chain of Command, event handlers, and delegates to avoid unsupported overlayering.
• Build integrations between D365 F&SCM and external applications using REST/OData, Business events, and dual-write when applicable.
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports and ER/document/report extensions.
• Work with DMF for data migration and integration scenarios; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specs.
