The Colorado Genetics Laboratory at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a full-time Cytogenetics Technologist at the senior to principal level to join our clinical team in Aurora, CO. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological science and 2+ years in clinical cytogenetics.
• ASCP Cytogenetics CG(ASCP) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with constitutional chromosome analysis and ISCN nomenclature.

Responsibilities

• Performs constitutional chromosome analysis on various specimens.
• Reviews cases for analytical accuracy and ISCN nomenclature prior to Director review.
• Prepares high-quality metaphase slides and digitized karyotypes.
• Participates in QA/QC and validates new cytogenomic testing methods.
